Story

I'm taking part in the Sussan Women's Fun Run 2011 again this year - last year I was inspired for many reasons but this year it gets a whole lot more personal...my Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer only a few weeks ago. So, while we're busy figuring out rosters to take her to radiation and learning how to be positive no matter what, it also means I have to go running again. This time round I have registered to run 10 kms. Yes, TEN KILOMETERS! You all know how unfit I am so this is a very tall order indeed and quite frankly, I'm terrified on all counts - of the cancer AND the running! I'm in training and while its a very slow process I am confident I can achieve the full 10km and hopefully inspire Mum to fight just that bit harder.

I'm not going to be badgering for money every five minutes - its about more than cash in my mind - but if you do feel like chipping in, your money will go towards providing newly diagnosed women with quality information and support.
